The No Sew Hedgehog looks adorable in any colour and can be completed in less than an hour and a half from start to finish. This pattern will work in any weight of yarn and appropriate hook size, but please note this will change the final dimensions.

Gauge is not important for this project and you can size up or down a hook depending on your tension. If you are finding the stitches loose, size down. If you are finding them to be too tight to work, size up.

I used Loops & Threads Chenille Home Slim in Seed Pearl and Terracotta for my project. The No Sew Hedgehog uses a small amount of each colour so it’s a quick and cost effective option for market prep or last minute gift giving.

I recommend a piece of fabric behind the safety eyes to prevent them from popping through the stitches as the yarn is quite bulky and the eyes are quite small. Alternatively, embroidering them would be a great option. Safety eyes are a potential choking hazard and should never be used for projects for children under 4.
