The No-Sew Jellyfish is an amigurumi pattern which, as the name suggests, does not require any sewing. All of the parts of the jellyfish are worked by attaching the yarn to the main body, meaning nothing has to be sewn together at the end. The only part that you will need a tapestry needle for is tucking in all of the yarn tails and embroidering on the smile. I know that sewing is many people’s least favorite part about crocheting, so this jellyfish avoids that aspect entirely!

This pattern calls for both Aran yarn and Bulky yarn (I used two strands of worsted weight yarn to equal a bulky yarn weight). This is to add extra texture to the jellyfish, but it can be worked in just one yarn weight if you prefer.

Materials

26 grams / 43 yards of bulky weight yarn. I used Bernat Baby Velvet worsted weight yarn in sky blue and lilac blooms held together. You can also use any bulky weight yarn of choice.

11 grams / 32 yards of Aran weight white yarn. I used Knit Pick’s Snuggle Puff in Hatchling.
