I designed this rose so that it doesn’t have to be sewn. Most layered flower patterns require sewing, but I feel it takes away some of the fun from crocheting. So I decided to design my own rose. The completed rose measures about 2 1/2 - 3” in diameter.

The construction of this flower may be slightly hard for some beginners to understand, but those who have been crocheting for years should pick it up quite easy.
