PATTERN DETAILS
Included in this pattern are instructions and pictures to crochet a snowman with either 2 or 3 sections, and patterns to make a scarf, ear muffs, and top hat to customize your snowman. Head and body are constructed as one piece with the arms and nose being made separately and attached in the round using the no-sew method. Hat and ear muffs will need to be sewn on and scarf can be tied or secured in place by sewing. Pattern is constructed using plush type yarn, but can also be made using ANY yarn type (worsted, chunky, DK etc).

Pattern is made by yarning under rather than yarning over, but please do whatever you are most comfortable with. Note that if choosing to yarn over, the look and size of your finished project may differ from what is pictured

NOTE: Final product may differ in appearance and size if choosing to use a yarn substitute. Placement of details may also need to be adjusted from the pattern to achieve desired look depending on yarn and tension.

FINISHED SIZE USING PLUSH TYPE YARN:
3 section snowman in plush yarn is approximately 8” tall
2 section snowman in plush yarn is approximately 6 1/2” tall
APPROXIMATE YARN AMOUNTS USED (size 5):
-3 ball plush snowman: 5g/5yd for each arm, 2-3g/3yd for nose, 99g/92yd for entire body
-2 ball plush snowman: 5g/5yd for each arm, 2-3g/3yd for nose, 80g/75yd for entire body
-Hat: 21g/20yd
-Scarf 15-20g/14-19yd
-Ear muffs: 4-5g/4-5yd for each circle, 3-4g/3-4yd for band
