The top is worked from top to bottom with Provisional Cast On over the shoulders, a technique that allows you to knit both ways with an invisible cast-on edge. A false button band is worked in the front, which is sewn in decorative buttons at the end. The bodice is finished by working short rows to create a rounded shape along the back of the bodice. It is recommended to try the top on before the short rows are worked, to ensure the correct length for your/the recipient’s torso. The bodice ends with a classic ribbed edge, while nice i-cord edges are worked along the neck and sleeve openings.

The sizes are calculated based on a negative ease of approximately -6 cm, which you subtract from your own chest measurement. The pattern follows body measurements of:
80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 cm.

Example: If your bust measures 93 cm, subtract 6 cm = 87 cm which is equivalent to size M.
It gives you a negative ease of -6 cm.
