Here’s a lightweight sweater for any occasion and made with a soft baby Alpaca 4-ply yarn. The inspiration for this design stemmed from the large wooden buttons used on the back.
So if you have some wonderful buttons you’ve been looking to add to a project but don’t want it to compete with them, try this design.
I found a gorgeous alpaca yarn at Elann.com to use for it.
It comes in a wide range of sumptuous tweeds. So you can either use my suggested color here or choose your own and order it online from www.elann.com/
I also used larger needles than required for this yarn to give it a loose and very comfortable feel.
This has become another one of my favorites to wear.
