NOCTURNE
(Suomeksi, rullaa alaspäin)

Nocturne is a pattern inspired by Jugend aesthetics and a famous Finnish poem by the national poet Eino Leino. Eino Leino’s poem called Nocturne was written to his loved one.
This pattern aims to capture the feeling of a dark, yet warm summer night filled with scents, dim colours and shimmering lights.

Information
This is a seamless sweater and worked entirely in the round. The body and sleeves are worked in the round until the underarms. The body of this sweater has no shaping, and the garment is a unisex design. The sample sweater is worked from Lettlopi but during test knit, many other Aran weight yarns were used, also.
The pattern looks more complicated than it is and there are only some rows with simultaneous three colours (most in the beginning). There are only a few long floats.

SUOMEKSI
Nocturne on Eino Leinon samannimisestä runosta ja Jugend-estetiikasta inspiroitunut malli. Malli pyrkii saavuttamaan tumman ja lämpimän kesäillan tunnelman, jossa yhdistyy tuoksut, himmeät värit ja kesävalon kajastus.

Yleistä ohjeesta
Paita neulotaan saumattomasti alhaalta ylös, hihat ja vartalo erikseen kainaloihin saakka, jossa vartalo ja hihat yhdistetään. Sen jälkeen neulotaan kaarroke myös pyörönä. Ohje on tehtävissä kokonaan pyöröpuikoilla looppaamalla hihat tai käyttämällä hihoissa sukkapuikkoja. Ohje on suora ja vartalo-osasta väljä unisex-malli. Perinteisten islantilaisneuleiden tapaan neuleessa ei ole muotoiluja. Mallineule on neulottu Lettlopista, mutta testineulonnan aikana versioita syntyi myös lukuisista muista langoista.

Ohje näyttää vaikeammalta kuin se on ja siinä on vain joitakin kolmen värin kerroksia (useimmat alussa) ja vähän pitkiä langanjuoksuja.
