Nocturne in M, wraps around your neck like a soft and soothing melody. A quick one skein project for her or him, this neckwarmer is the best option for those that want a scarf for their neck but won’t have the time (or the patience) to knit a loooong scarf. Me, for example. Perfect for last minute gifts.

The slip stitch pattern works wonders on those slightly variegated or hand painted yarns as it breaks up any pooling and adds textural interest and the nifty pull through makes sure the finished Nocturne in M stays put and won’t slide or fall off!

Malabrigo Yarn Rios, 1 skein
(210 yards /192 meters per 100g/3.53 oz skein, 100% Merino) or worsted weight yarn

US 8 (5 mm) 24”/ 60cm circular needle or straights, or size to obtain gauge

Gauge
20 sts and 32 rows = 4” in stockinette st

Nocturne in M legt sich weich um den Hals wie eine leise sanfte Melodie. Schnell gestrickt aus einem Strang, für alle die gerne einen weichen Schal um den Nacken möchten, aber vielleicht die nötige Zeit nicht haben um einen langen Schal zu stricken, oder die Geduld fehlt, wie bei mir :). Perfekt auch als Geschenk in letzter Minute!

Die Anleitung eignet sich besonders für handgefärbtes Garn, da das Hebemaschenmuster die Farbenvariationen gut zur Geltung bringt und durch die praktische Lasche bleibt der Nocturne in M auch da wo er hin gehört, am Hals, wo man ihn braucht.

1 Strang Malabrigo (210 yards /192 meters per 100g/3.53 oz skein, 100% Merino) oder ‘worsted weight’ Garn
(Model in Zarzamora (violet) und Archangel (rot))

Nadeln
US 8 (5 mm) Nadeln oder 24”/ 60cm Rundstricknadel, oder der Maschenprobe entsprechend.

20 M und 32 R = 4” 10 cm glatt rechts gestrickt
