Noel the Gnome will bring some handmade cheer to your home. Noel’s beard is knitted in a polyester eyelash yarn to make it extra fluffy. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, Noel is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair each of 3.5mm and 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4 and 6)

RECOMMENDED YARN
For the gnome, Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 30g in each colour. For the beard use a 100% polyester DK weight eyelash yarn, up to 10g in white; King Cole Moments DK is recommended.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, beads for eyes, stitch markers, and a star shaped button to decorate the hat.

SIZES
One size only - 21cm tall (including the hat).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
