The NOELLA hat pattern is a fast and fun knit, perfect for a little knitted gift to the ones you love. Having these wonderful colors in Merino DK ( by La Bien Aimee) in my stash, I was looking for a matching pattern. Ending up with a wild mixture: cables with lace stitches!

There is a seamless transition from ribbed brim to cabled pattern and the crown decreases are part of the pattern too. The NOELLA hat is worked up quickly and fully reversible. Pattern can be used for a lovely beanie in adult or children size.

Use neutral colors, tonal/ solid or speckled. The pattern is so addictive, I could not resist to knit two hats in one go! The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. Directions are given for two sizes and written in parentheses as follows: S (M, L).

Both samples shown in La Bien Aimee, Merino DK (100% Merino) in colors Winter Garden and Caramel.
Approximately 175 (195, 220) yards, 160m (180m, 200m) of DK weight yarn.
You can also use any other DK weight yarn.
