The Noelle socks are a beautiful pair of stockinette socks with an easy colourwork panel suitable for beginners to stranded sock knitting. Named after a Canadian friend who said they reminded her of the types of socks her grandmother used to knit as Christmas gifts, the colourwork panel of the Noelle socks features a geometric snowflake design that sits just below the cuff, while the foot of the sock is plain and easily adjustable for a perfect fit. The colourwork panel is small enough for using up some of those tiny leftover amounts of sock yarn from previous projects (we all have them!).

Size 1 for foot circumference of 6-8 inches
Size 2 for foot circumference of 8-10 inches
Size 3 for foot circumference of 10-11 inches
Foot length and leg length are adjustable to preference.

Sample socks were knitted using approximately 50 grams of main colour yarn (Fenwick St Flashmerino in colour “Curfew” dyed by Miss Click Clack) and approximately 3 grams of contrast colour yarn (Tough Stocking Mini Skein in colour “Newsprint” from Dyed by Hand Yarns). Great opportunity to use up leftovers as your contrast colour!!
