A big rectangle. Is it a shawl? A stole? A scarf? Doesn’t matter. You’ll use it everyday.
A tidy wide and long rectangle, the patterning is insouciantly asymmetrical: the lace stripe starts at one side, bounces to the other, returns back to the first and then slides off the edge. Once the lace motif is complete, just keep working in garter stitch until you run out of yarn, or it’s the length you want.
The pattern requires only rudimentary lace knitting skills.
