Nogal Mitts
Nogal Mitts is a celebration of nature’s beauty and the warmth of autumn. Inspired by the rich tones of falling leaves, this pattern embraces the natural softness of untreated yarn, offering both comfort and coziness. A tribute to the earth’s bounty, the Nogal Mitts is a perfect blend of warmth, love for nature, and the timeless charm of handcraft.
The Nogal Mitts are worked in the round, seamlessly, starting at the cuff, which can be worn down or folded up. The upper ribbing is also intended to be worn folded. But you can always unfold it to cover fingers on colder days.
Where only one size is given this applies to all sizes.
If you want a longer mitt, repeat more pattern after lower ribbing.
There are no more than 2 stitches of one color next to each other, so there’s no need to catch floats. The pattern is friendly for beginners in stranded colorwork knitting.
Using a Magic Loop technique, the mitts are worked on a longer circular needle.
