This is a nice granny square brimmed crochet hat that will serve nicely as a beanie or slouchy hat and is easily sizable for young and old.

The pattern, as written, will easily fit a large range of sizes from 19” to 23” (head size) and includes instructions for making the hat a bit larger and smaller.

Gauge is not critical but if you are a loose crocheter you may want to go down one size in hook.

This particular pattern uses partial skeins in green, yellow, and orange, and two full skeins of black.
