Inspired by the mystery of a wandering nomad, this cowl top has the flexibility to be styled in a variety of ways. The cowl can be worn as a hood, a hood with pseudo scarf, shoulder wrap, and drapey cowl. If you choose to knit the top cropped it can be worn over a long sleeved shirt or dress. Pairs great with high waisted pants or jeans. Looks killer underneath a leather jacket as pictured. It has the potential to be knit in many ways and styling will depend on your choice of the suggested modifications. See pictures throughout the pattern for ideas.

SHAPING NOTES: Nomad Cowl Top is worked from the bottom to the top with an oversized bottom hem and exaggerated decreases that result in longer panels that drape on the sides. Front is slightly wider than the back to allow more drape. After working front and back flat, shoulders are sewn together. The cowl is picked up along the neck edge and worked with increases that make it oversized.
