Nomad Tee
Pattern updated as of March 2022
The Nomad Tee is an eye-catching, relaxed-fit tee designed for warmer weather months. It is worked sideways to allow stranded colourwork to run up through the centre of the garment vertically, wrapping around a V-neckline and down the back. There are two sleeve options in this design, allowing you to create either a shorter, capped sleeve or a slightly longer sleeve that features stranded colourwork. The loose, draped fit ensures a comfortable, airy addition to your warmer weather wardrobe.
SAMPLES
The wearer is 5’10” with a chest circumference of 37” / 92.5cm.
The body of Sample A (grey / white / gold) has been worked in size M, giving 6.5” / 16.5cm of positive ease at the chest, with the capped sleeve option. To accommodate the wearer’s height, the sleeve and side cast on were worked as for size L and an extra 1” / 2.5cm of depth was added to the V-neck.
Sample B (blue) has been worked to size L, giving 11” / 27.5cm of positive ease at the chest, with the colourwork sleeve option. To accommodate the wearer’s height, an extra 1.5” / 4cm of depth was added to the V-neck.
SIZING GUIDE
This garment is graded into sizes XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). Recommended positive ease is 4-12” / 10-30cm at the chest circumference.
