Hello! This is my first published pattern. It includes a colorwork chart for the Non-Compliant logo (from the amazing comic series “Bitch Planet”). If you have any questions or find errors, please please let me know and I will respond and update as necessary.

I am left-handed and a self-taught knitter. As such, the numbering on the chart might be backwards for righties. Also the ‘NC’ logo may knit up on the opposite side of the cap from what’s shown in the pictures. It should still work and look great regardless.

The colorwork chart came first, and then I needed something to combine it with. I love big, slouchy hats and thought the style would fit into the comic book setting. It was only when the hat was near complete that my husband mentioned it reminded him of a Phrygian cap (think bonnets rouges worn by French revolutionaries) and it was so fitting for the theme of non-compliance.

SIZES:
The LARGE size came first, and then I adjusted for MEDIUM and SMALL. I have a big head and the large is even big on me. Looks great but it might be too slouchy for some. It would work well for someone with big hair. If you want to go up or down in size, increase the cast-on number of stitches in increments of 5, and make sure you end with an even number of stitches for the bind-off.

NON-COMPLIANCE:
This pattern is free, and so are you. Do with it what you will. Change it, add your own flair, make it your own piece of awesome (and share the results!). But don’t sell it! This is not for you nor me to use for profit.
