level: beginner
size: two sizes: teen/adult small/medium, and adult large/extra-large
yarn: any dk/worsted #3/4 yarns you can get gauge with, used in sample are:
• yellow: Juniper Moon Farm Zooey (60% cotton, 40% linen) in #36 Honeybee
• white: Classic Elite Yarns Hanako (50% cotton, 50% linen) in #5616 Natural
• purple: Berroco Weekend (75% acrylic, 25% cotton) in #5936 Violet
• black: Lang Yarns Zeta (70% cotton, 30% linen) in #0004
needles: US#5 3.75mm circulars 12-16” long and US #5 3.75mm double pointed needles
additional materials: stitch markers, and yarn needle or small crochet hook
skills: know how to cast on, work in the round, knit (k), purl (p), change colors, and k3togtbl (knit 3 together through back loop) or whichever way to k3tog you feel is easiest
gauge: 4”x4” in k1p1 rib = 30 sts across x 26 rows down
