This lovely lace Cowl or Scarf is worked on larger needles, to create a more open, lightweight, lacework.
The photos show the Cowl. The Scarf is worked in the same lace pattern but is half the width and twice the length of the Cowl.

Cowl width: 60cm 23½ ins
Cowl length: 90cm 35½ ins
Scarf width: 30cm 12 ins
Scarf length: 180cm 71 ins

Yarn required for Cowl or Scarf: 1 ball Lincraft Cakes Illusion, 150g balls@600m.

Needles required: A pair of 4.50mm UK 7, US 7 knitting needles.
Wool needle for sewing up.

Tension: 18.5 sts and 26 rows to 10cm 4 ins over patt, using 4.50mm needles. This pattern is worked on larger needles and at a looser tension than usually recommended.
