Noodle The Elephant
Noodle The Elephant was inspired by a granny square quilt - notice the pattern decorating the body and ears… Wouldn’t he make a perfect gift for any baby girl or boy!
This pattern uses tables for all parts, with added diagrams and pictures to help along the way. There are also step by step photos detailing how to begin crochet, assemble the parts and finish the embroidery. You will mostly need basic stitches - this is a very simple crochet that takes about 3 hours to do (depending on how quick you are!).
The finished elephant is approximately 4” (11cm) tall when made with a 2.5mm hook, with a very curvy body that’s perfect for hugs. Any yarn will do, just be sure all the colors are a similar weight! (I used a wool/acrylic mix to make the ones in the pictures)
