Based on classic turban hat patterns of the 1940s and 50s, Nora is a comfortable, fun hat that is bound to make a big impact. A slightly pointed skullcap keeps the top of your noggin warm in perfect vintage style, while the stretchy rib lace bandeau keeps your do impeccable til evening. A flirty outsize layered bow completes the look.

Suitable for beginner-intermediate knitters. You should be familiar with k2tog and p2tog decreases, and yarn-over increases.

Materials:
180-250m sport/dk yarn
needle to obtain gauge
(model used Gosyo Zakka Bright Acrylic medium and US size 6 needle)

Gauge:

16 sts/22rows per 10cm to fit medium-large adult head.

As the hat is worn on the back of the head, gauge does not have to be absolutely precise.
