Nord Cardigan
Description
This classic V-neck cardigan is a true wardrobe stable; possibilities for creating your own design by using stripes or contrast colours are endless. Pockets for your kid’s favorite treasures make it fun to wear. Choose a larger size, so it will fit over years and grow with your child.
The cardigan is worked top-down in one piece. Starting at the neck, increasing stitches along V-neck and raglan line; Dividing into body and sleeves and finishing them separately, including the pockets; picking up stitches for the buttonband and working it in the same stitch pattern as the cuffs, hem and pocket opening.
Instructions given are for a solid version, but you can play with stripes, use contrasting colours for pockets, buttonbands, hem and cuffs or bind off the last rows in a contrast colour. The options for creating an unique piece are endless.
