Sarah Anderson created a girl’s cardigan in red and natural colors of Bluefaced Leicester with a stranded colorwork motif inspired by her Norwegian heritage. After the cardigan, mittens were a logical pairing, but the set wasn’t finished without a matching hat… . and what a shame not to make a boy’s version. When inverted, the heart motif looked to Sarah’s like little men cheering beside spaceships. A helmet-style hat completed the boy’s version. The wide hems cover the stranded colorwork floats to prevent little fingers from snagging.
