This vintage-inspired stocking is for a classic, understated
holiday. This is the perfect simple stocking from its
reverse-stockinette rolled cuff to the carefully finished
toe. The allover texture of knits and purls is inspired by
vintage sweaters and knits up like a dream. It’s a family
heirloom in the making!

This stocking is worked in the round from the cuff down.
The leg and foot of the stocking are worked in an all-over
texture (charted and written out). The short-row heel and
toe stand out in stockinette. To finish, the toe is closed
with Kitchener stitch, and an I-Cord loop is sewn in place.
