These socks look like mountains of ice and snow, so I decided to name them Nordic Glacier socks!

This easy colorwork design is suitable for everyone from baby to grandparents, and is easily adjustable to every size you need and to all yarn weights.
Also a good scrap yarn project, since only small amounts of yarn are needed for the cuff&toes, and on the colorwork.

Pattern includes 6 cast on sizes to choose from.

You can knit this pattern with either fingering, sport, or dk weight yarn. Recommended gauge with dk weight yarn about 24sts/10cm, with sport weight yarn about 28sts/10cm and with fingering yarn about 34-36sts/10cm.

My example sock is knitted with dk weight yarn and 3,25mm needles, with a cast on of 48sts. The toddler size for my 2yo daughter is knitted with sport weight yarn, 2,5mm needles and the size was 42sts.

Tämä on hyvä projekti myös jämälangoille, koska varren alkuun ja varpaisiin tarvitsee vain vähän lankaa, eikä kirjoneulekuvioonkaan montaa grammaa kulu.

Oma esimerkkisukkani on neulottu paksulla (200m/100g) sukkalangalla ja 3,25mm puikoilla koossa 48s.
Taaperon sukka 2-vuotiaalle on neulottu keskipaksulla sukkalangalla (noin 260m/100g) ja 2,5mm puikoilla, ja silmukkamäärä 42s.
