The Nordic Mittens are easy to knit with large double-pointed needles and easy color pattern. The heavy worsted weight yarn is doubled to make the mittens thick and warm. This is an “instant gratification” project for those that like to get a project started and finished in a short amount of time. Instructions for a matching rolled-brim hat are included.

Yarn required: 1-2 skeins of Bartlettyarns 2-ply worsted wool yarn (doubled when knit) PLUS 1 oz. each of 2 contrasting colors.

Needles required: double-pointed needles size 10
