Velkommen! As a third generation Scandinavian-American immigrant, I’m absolutely in love with nordic designs and knitting culture. I like to rework classic motifs and do somewhat nontraditional or unexpected colors. Here’s my version of the traditional selbu rose pattern in a beanie hat.

This hat can be lightly felted (carefully) if you use 100% wool yarn if you need a smaller size or just like the look of felting better. You can also size down your needles to get a smaller size. I’m technically a women’s medium - this hat fits me fairly snug. You won’t use the whole skein of either color.
