Nordic style Snowflake Sweater

This is a warm Worsted sweater with round yoke. Designed with extra long sleeves and body, to protect important body-parts from the cold!
The pretty snowflake-motifs are seamed to the surface.

Basically a plain design. Lots of tips and suggestions for how to adjust your sweater to your own style, and how to do it.

Would you rather have;
Slightly shaped body, or straight? Shorter or longer?
Extra long -, or shorter sleeves?
More or less stripes, or may be completely plain?
More or less snowflakes, smaller or larger snowflakes?
Or maybe no snowflakes at all?
Simple round neckline, or turtleneck?

The sweater is worked with extended single crochets (Esc).
A fast-worked and easy knit-look stitch, giving a dense, but yet light fabric with smooth surface.

The pretty white stripes are created with a special stitch.
I don’t think there is a term for them, as I discovered them by a mistake!
The snowflakes are created with 3 rounds only, very easy and fast worked!

Positive ease.

Finished chest-width measured across garment.
42 - 46- 51 - 56 cm (16.5 - 18 - 20 - 22 inch)

Materials:

Yarn:
Worsted/4, or any yarn suitable for your project, obtaining gauge in instruction.
Amount:
S: 450 gr (16 oz) - M: 500 gr (17.5 oz)
L: 550 gr (19.5 oz) - XL: 650 gr (23 oz).
Add 50 g main color (1.8 oz) if you like a tall neck.
Crochet hook:
EU 5,5 mm (US I/9)

Snowflake:
Yarn: Sport- or Light, weight 2-3.
Amount: 1 skein (50 g (1.8 oz)
Crochet Hook: Eu 4 mm (US G/6)
