This sweater is a top down construction, with a patterned yoke. Initially it is knitted flat with a button band and three button holes. The button hole bands are joined together to form a placket at the same point the yoke is finished and the sleeves are separated. The body is then continued in the round and finished with rib. The sleeves are then knitted in the round using the magic loop method.
