Nori's Lace
Nori’s Lace is a long, triangular wrap, shawlette, or scarf worked side-to-side for the body. Then, the laciest parts are worked back and forth across the length of the wrap.
Before blocking Nori’s Lace was 70 inches (177.8 cm) in length and 9 and 1/4 inches (23.5 cm) at the widest point. After blocking, it is now 86 inches (218.4 cm) in length and 10 and 1/4 inches (26 cm) at the widest point. To the very tip of the lace is actually 11 inches (27.9 cm).
The body of the wrap begins with a small number of stitches and then gradually increases. After the widest point is reached, the number of stitches gradually decrease until a very long triangle is achieved.
Stitches used: chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, triple (treble) crochet, slip stitch.
