Notes:
This would be considered an intermediate pattern. Sewing skills & patience are required! You must know how to crochet Bo as well as reverse single crochet/crab stitch.

Materials:
Yarn, 3.50 mm crochet hook, 2.25 mm crochet hook, 5.00 mm crochet hook, 16.00 mm safety eye, black felt, scissors, tapestry needle, and poly-fill for stuffing.

Let’s talk about yarn!
You will need #4 weight yarn for this project. I used 185 yards of Red Heart Super Saver in the color buff for the main body and limbs. I used 50 yards of Red Heart Super Saver in the color white for the diaper and eye. I used 50 yards of Big Twist Value in the color lilac for the hair. I used 50 yards of Big Twist Value in the color teal for the hat. I also used a small amount of pink & red yarn for the mouth. Feel free to use any brand/color of your choosing as long as it is #4 weight yarn.

Abbreviations:
-Sl st: slip stitch
-Sc: single crochet
-Hdc: half double crochet
-Dc: double crochet
-Inc: increase
-Dec: decrease
-Flo: front loops only
-Blo: back loops only
-Bo: Bobble stitch
-Rev sc: reverse single crochet/crab stitch

Final Measurements:
Your finished monster will measure roughly 9 inches tall!

Gauge:
With a 3.50 mm crochet hook and #4 weight yarn 8 sc sts by 10 sc rows = 2 inches. Gauge is not extremely important for this project! You want to crochet tightly enough so stuffing does not poke out of your stitches!
