The front and back panels of this felted knitted bag are knitted using one of Iris Schreier’s modular techniques. The side gussets and base of the bag are picked up and joined with knitting so there is a minimal amount of sewing up once the knitting is finished. The base of the bag has a knitted lining so a firm piece of cardboard or plastic canvas can be inserted between the 2 layers of knitting to give a firm base to the bag.
