The Norsemen Stash Buster is a great project that uses scraps of DK weight yarn to complete it’s color work patterns. “Norsemen” is an old word use to describe the nations that spoke the Old Norse language between the 8th and 11th centuries.

The color work in the patterns are as follows (starting at the bottom of the hat):

Norway

Estonia

Finland

Latvia

70 yards of each color is required for the color work sections and the pom pom.
