North Atlantic Mermaid
This pattern will walk you through creating your very own North Atlantic Mermaid!
The finished size is approximately 33 cm (13”) tall.
Pieces to make:
Head/Body/Tail (1 piece)
Arms (make 2)
Hair
Headband
Bikini Top (make 2)
Yarn Needed:
Light Blue
Medium Blue
Dark Blue
Suggested Brands: Impeccable by Loops & Threads or Red Heart Super Saver or similar Medium weight
Other Tools:
3.5mm/3.0mm/4.0mm Hook
Darning needle
Polyfil or stuffing of your choice
2 Pieces of wire (33cm/13” & 20cm/8”) (optional)
Long skewer (if using wire)
Pliers (if using wire)
Glue Gun or Fabric Glue or Needle & Thread
Stick pins or needles
Stitch marker
Black Felt
Note: I use 14 - 16 gauge wire (from electrical wiring), but you can also use 2-4 strands of floral wire, twisted together, or, if you like, no wire at all!
