When you grow up in a cold climate you know the importance of warm hats. I designed this hat to keep heads warm on the coldest days of the year. It is designed to hug your head and keep away howling winter winds.

It is worked in my favorite bulky yarn on large needles and knits up in a flash.

Materials:
• 1 skein Lamb’s Pride bulky (125 yards) in main color
• 1/2 skein Lamb’s Pride bulky (60 yards) in contrasting color
• US #8 US #9, 20 inch circular needles, US #9 DPNs
• Stitch marker
• Darning needle
• Clover Pom Pom maker (optional)
