NORTH POLE SOCKS
So warm, squishy, and stretchy!
This is crochet, not knit!
The garter pattern is created by slip stitches, as well as the purled pattern on toe cap, and on the border on top of the socks.
• In knitting, purl is the WS of the knit stitch.
• Garter, is knit stitch worked back and forth.
• In crochet, the slip stitch is the smallest of all stitches, and can imitate any knitted basic stitch.
Bulky yarn and large hook, works up these socks in short time.
Work them to any length you like.
Note the socks folded down to boot-length. They have crochet soles joined to the bottom for protection.
