North sweater is worked from the top to the bottom. First, work the back yoke with increases in each row, then, the back. Next, pick up the stitches from the selvedge stitches of the yoke for the right and left shoulder.
They’re worked separately and joined into one, then, the front of the sweater is worked. Back and front are worked in the round. Sleeve stitches are picked up from the selvedge stitches of the armholes. The collar is worked last.

Sizes: XS / S / M / L / XL / XXL.
Fitting allowance – approx. 30 cm (11.8 in) to chest circumference.

Yarn: Katia consept cotton-merino (105 m/50 g (114 yds/1.75 oz); 70% cotton, 30% wool).
Possible substitutions: Naco Denim (200 m/100 g (218 yds/3.5 oz); 60% cotton, 40% acrylic), Drops air, Infinity air.

Totals used: 400-450 (450-500) 500 (550) 600 (650-700) g (14.1-15.8 (15.8-17.6) 17.6 (19.4) 21.1 (22.9-24.6) oz). The amount may vary depending on the chosen yarn.

Needles: circular needles 4 mm (US6) and 5 mm (US8) with cable length 40 cm (16 in) and 100-120 cm (39-47 in); double pointed needles 4 mm (US6) and 5 mm (US8) for the sleeves.

Notions: 4 mm crochet hook, markers, tapestry needle, scissors, contrasting color waste yarn.

Gauge: make a gauge swatch and count your stitches after washing and blocking. It might be necessary to change needle size to achieve a matching gauge. If you knit tighter (have more stitches), use thicker needles, if you knit more loosely (have fewer stitches), use thinner needles.
Approx. 17 sts and 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 in) in stockinette stitch on 5 mm (US8) needles (after washing and blocking).
