The Northern Blue Socks feature a colorwork motif up the ankle modeled after the wings of the northern blue butterfly (Plebejus idas). These socks are knit toe-up with a short-row heel and are not left/right footed, facilitating two-at-a-time knitting. The colorwork instructions are charted.

I provide instructions for 4 foot circumferences: 7”/18cm (8”/20.5cm) (9”/23cm) (10”/25.5cm). The pattern includes measurement details for each size as well as information on how to choose a size for your foot.
