This is a kit, based on a draft by my mother Liisa Rajala.
The pattern is from an old traditional Finnish rug.

The kit includes generous amount of yarn dyed with plants, color photo of the mittens, a chart and general written instruction.

The main color is Natural Black and pattern colors are two greens, brownish red, orange and yellow, all dyed with mushrooms.

From the website: “Riihivilla- mittens are a combination of Finnish tradition, harmonous natural colors and motifs from Finnish nature.”

“These mittens are of medium difficulty and they require some experience with stranded knitting.”
