Front and back pieces are worked separately. Pattern is worked using intarsia technique. Sleeves are knitted in the round to the underarm, then back and forth. The
pieces are sewn together on the RS.

This pattern is designed to fit a child of the following years:

Using intarsia as stated in the pattern, the intricate colorway details almost mimic embroidery for this seamed cardigan. Note that in the book, the second colorway “A” is actually colorway “D” in the chart.
