Norwegian Hat
This hat was designed as part og the StrandedKAL, which I hosted in my podcast, Arctic Knititng. I realized that many people who want to try stranded knitting for the first time is really intimidated my it, and it’s really hard to know what’s an easy pattern the first time you decided to try a new technice.
This pattern is designed for 4mm needles, so it’s a relatively fast project. Also, I’ve decided to keep the stranded part to the stockinette part of the hat, the part between the ribbing and the decreases. This way, when you do the colorwork, you don’t have to keep track of anything else. Also, there are no floats longer than 3 sts, which makes it easy not to pull the float to tightly.
