This is the first kit in our history series, where we explore traditional knitted garments and add a modern twist to make them wearable today. The Lusekofte sweater is modeled after a traditional Norwegian ski sweater. We’ve added some updated details such as set in shoulders, knitted facings around the cuffs and placket, and a ribbed hem. But other elements such as traditional flower, mountain, snowflake, and geometric motifs have remained the same. Along with the sweater pattern, this kit contains a detailed history of Lusekofte sweaters. This sweater is intended to be worn with 4 inches of ease.
