Norwick
Norwick, it’s a tiny windy place by the sea located at a northern point of shetland islands, inhabited by sheep, green grass, beautiful stones, a few human beings and probably a little goldfish hidden deep in the sea…
This cardigan is inspired by variations around the traditional OXO pattern from the shetland island.
Norwick cardigan is worked from the top down. Neckband is worked flat, then steek stitches are added and the sweater is worked in the round. Yoke shaping is given by some short rows after the stranded pattern…
Pockets are optional, but I wonder how you can carry a fair isle fish without colorful pockets…
The pattern contains detailed instructions for the steek part.
