Norwood is a cheeky monkey who loves eating bananas. These toys are knitted in stockinette, with increases and decreases for shaping, and intarsia colour-work for the face. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, stitch holder and toy safety eyes.

SIZES
One size only - The monkey is 31cm tall and the banana 12cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, short rows to make the banana, and seaming to finish.
