You haven’t seen this way of finishing the top of a hat yet.

Hat with reverse works in rounds without seams.
In a note, you find tips for hat without reverse and tips if you use other yarn and have another gauge.

Knitting level: EASY/INTERMEDIATE.

Required skills: knitting stitches, purling stitches, cast on and bind off, decreases, increases, chart read.

Gauge:
14 stitches and 17 rows/rounds = 10 х 10 cm stockinette stitch with 7 mm needles and 2 threads of yarn together after blocking.

Sizes:
S (M, L, XL).
Fits head size approx.:

52/53 (54/55, 56/57, 58/59) cm

Height

24 (25, 26, 27) cm.

Materials List:
- 3 (3.5, 3.5, 4) skeins BBB Full Yarn (100% merino, 90m/50 g), for hat with lapel.
Or 3 (3, 3.5, 3.5) skeins for hat without brim.
- 6 mm (US 10) circular knitting needles (for 1x1 Rib pattern).
Length 40 = 16″.
7 mm circular knitting needles (for Cable pattern).
OR other yarn and other needles for correct gauge.
Additionally:
Tapestry needle, waste yarn and stitch marker.
