Nostalgia Scarf
A scarf in a garter stitch lace pattern, inspired by traditional bobbin lace patterns.
Nostalgia Scarf can be knitted in many different types of yarn and the width will depend on yarn choice and knitting gauge. You can use the material suggestions as inspiration and to estimate yarn consumption in your yarn.
Please note that the specified yarn quantities are indicative and it is recommended to weigh your work along the way as described, to ensure you have enough yarn.
The scarf is knitted from tip to tip. Stitches are cast on with long tail cast-on. Lace pattern is worked according to chart or description. The work gradually increases until the final width is reached.
When the tip is shaped, continue in a repeat of 8 rows in the lace pattern until the desired length. Finally, the second tip is worked according to the chart or description.
