Nosy Neighbour is worked top down and in the round, starting with knit-purl stripe pattern, followed by diamond pattern and a 1x1 rib.

I also wrote a pattern for a matching cowl, available in Malabrigo Ravelry Store: Sense of Direction

Materials
Yarn: DK or light worsted yarn, 150 (170, 200) m / 165 (185, 220) yds.
Purple hat was made in Cascade 220 Superwash (100% wool, 200 m / 220 yds per 100g, col. 1947 Amethyst Heather). Ochre hat was made in Wloczki Warmii Amelia (100% wool, 250 m / 275 yds per 100g, col. Olive Grove).
For best results use smooth yarn with good stitch definition.

Skills needed
Provisional cast-on, knit, purl, decreases, yarn-overs, working in the round. Basic brioche would be helpful, but is not necessary.

Take time to make a gauge swatch. If necessary, adjust needle size.
