The shawl is worked mostly in garter stitch from bottom to top. It is a very relaxing knit that can be worked to any size and in any yarn. The yarn used in the sample was a fingering weight sock yarn, but feel free to use whatever you like. Despite all the garter stitch there are some parts where you have to be careful – the borders.

Difficulty level: easy (garter stitch, easy increases)

Yarn: Lana Grossa Meilenweit Special (80% wool, 20% nylon; 209m/50g; 229yds/1.76oz), 3 balls. Sample in a size of 170 x 60cm (68 x 24in) used 560m (612yds).

Needles: 4mm/US 6 circular needle

Notions: yarn needle, 1 stitch marker (optional)

Gauge: 22 stitches/48 rows in garter stitch = 10cm/4in. This is my gauge in fingering weight yarn. Exact gauge is not essential.

Size: can be worked to any size

Das Tuch wird hauptsächlich kraus rechts von unten nach oben gearbeitet. Es ist sehr entspannend zu stricken, man kann es in jeder beliebigen Größe und jedem beliebigen Garn stricken. Für meines habe ich 4-fädige Sockenwolle verwendet, jedoch könnt ihr verwenden was immer ihr wollt. Trotz der vielen rechten Maschen gibt es ein paar Stellen, wo man aufpassen muss: Die Ränder.

Schwierigkeit: einfach (kraus rechts, einfache Zunahmen)
