Not cabled
Not cabled is a hat with a textured pattern that looks like it uses cables. The illusion is achieved with just working knit and purl stitches.
Worked with a worsted weight yarn and a 2x2 ribbed hem using a long tail tubular CO, the stretchy cast on holds the hat snuggly over your ears and keeps you warm during cold days in autumn and winter.
SIZES
S/M, L/XL to fit head circumference 41–51 cm (51–61 cm)/16-20” (20-24”)
Sample is shown in size L/XL in colorway Lagon.
YARDAGE
1 skein De Rerum Natura Gilliatt or approx. 160 (190) meters/175 (210) yards worsted weight yarn to achieve given gauge.
Each knitter knits differently, therefore yardage is an estimate.
GAUGE
21 sts x 32 rows = 10 cm /4”, in textured pattern with needle 4.50 mm/ US7, unstretched
19 sts x 32 rows = 10 cm/ 4”, in 2x2 ribbing with needle 3.50 mm/ US4, slightly stretched.
Take time to check gauge, and adjust needle size if necessary to get gauge.
