The pattern
The pattern gives instructions for the sweater, as well as for the pair of leggings.

THE SWEATER
The body of the sweater is worked bottom-up, the sleeves are worked top-down. The sweater is seamless.

The fine thing is that you may use many different colours for the stripes and choose one of them for the yoke and ribbed parts, you can omit the stripes, or the Guernsey (or both) and use the pattern for a basic sweater. There are so many possibilities.
Let your fantasy and yarn set the limit.
